While Olivier, a 39-year-old foreman, gives his job everything he’s got, Laura, his wife and the mother of their two children, abandons the family home leaving Olivier alone to face his responsibilities. Lost and completely thrown, Olivier is going to have to come to terms with his new status as a single father raising his children alone. Because Laura’s not coming back.

Guillaume Senez

Born in 1978 in Uccle, Belgium, he has the joint Belgian and French citizenship. In 2001, he graduated from one of the best film school in Brussels:  INRACI (Institut National de Radioélectricité et Cinématographie).

He is the author of several short films selected in many festivals: La Quadrature du Cercle (2005), In Our Veins (2009) and U.H.T. (2012). In 2016, he released his first feature film, Keeper, which is selected in more than 70 festivals (including Toronto, Locarno, Angers – Jury Grand Prix, etc.) and receives more than twenty awards. Our battles was selected at the Semaine de la Critique (Cannes 2018), is his second feature film.
