Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani are a married couple of French filmmakers living in Brussels. They co-direct all their films.

Hélène Cattet was born in 1976 in Paris and Bruno Forzani the same year in Menton. They met in Brussels in 1997. After several short films, Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani made Amer in 2009, a postmodern homage to Giallo which received international recognition.

In 2013, they realized a second feature film: The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears.

With their last one: Let the Corpses Tan (2017), they are now the authors of three feature films.

“One starts with an idea and the other bounces on it, adding something and taking it elsewhere. Our films are really built like ping-pong games every time.”
